Dear Sheiko Families,
Wow! What a great day for our FunD Run! The generosity has been outstanding! We had a PJ day yesterday, and students earned an extra recess next week! Will they get to silly string me? Stay tuned! We cannot be more thankful for your generosity and support!
Our "Big Announcement" is about field trips, and we need your help! Our 4th and 5th graders are going to WBMS to learn about the "Michigan Design Prize" on Monday. Our kindergarten and first grade classes are going to see "The Rainbow Fish" at WBHS on October 4th. Our kindergarteners are going to the West Bloomfield Public Library on October 8th. So many great opportunities, but many still need to fill out the "Back to School" paperwork, which includes an "in-district" field trip form. Please, please, please fill it out today, if you haven't already
Every form you need to fill out for the start of the school year and links to key departments are all on the Back 2 School Central page under the Parents dropdown menu on the district website wbsd.org.
In addition, we really need you to complete the Meal Magic form found here. While breakfast and lunch are currently provided to all students in the state of Michigan, having ALL families fill out this form is critical in determining the amount of money our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs. Additionally, it might allow you to qualify for reduced fees for district programs and camps, reading intervention, and more. Thank you for completing this important form online. If you need any help filling out this form, please call Nancy Romaya at (248) 865-6732 or email her at nancy.romaya@wbsd.org.
Again, thank you so much for all you do! Have a great weekend!
Blaine McDowell
