PCC Parent Weekly Bulletin #3
January 19, 2026 NORTH
Let's GOOOO! π₯
We hope you are finding this bulletin a useful tool in planning your week. We began this in an effort to improve and consolidate our communications with you, and are sending out a PCC Parent Weekly Bulletin on Mondays with pertinent deadlines, events, announcements, and even lunch links.
Please feel free to reach out to Linda Wheeler if you have any feedback on this bulletin.
Happening this Week: ποΈ
Monday, Jan 19 - HOLIDAY for ALL - no school
Tuesday, Jan 20 - Electives - Art and Choir (held at the Central Campus)
Wednesday, Jan 21
- CODA Snack Shop
- House COLORS Day! β€οΈπππ - wear your house shirt!
Next Monday, January 26 - History Highlights Parents Meeting (4th - 6th grade) @ 2:10pm in the Fellowship Hall library.
Volunteer Opportunities - Lunch duty is as little as 1 hour/week!
If you are willing and able to volunteer for lunch duty, please consider it. It can be a little as one hour per week. We appreciate any time you can spare. Even if you can volunteer sporadically due to your schedule that is still very helpful. Thank you to all who have taken the time to help out!
We continue to look for volunteers to help supervise students during lunch at Pietas. Our greatest need is for Thursday lunch coverage (11:30am - 12:15pm) to allow our teachers to attend staff meetings. Your presence during this time is incredibly valuable to our community and our staff.
Lunch supervision is a simple but meaningful way to support both our students and teachers. If you are able to help, even occasionally, we would be very grateful for your time and support.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve our community!
Wednesday CODA Lunch Order Links & Snack Shop π₯ͺ
Chick-Fil-A lunches are the first Wednesday of every month. Please place your orders on or before Tuesday at 8pm.
Don't forget on the remaining Wednesdays of the month, we will offer our Snack Shop CODA fundraiser during lunch.
Announcements: π
Open House Events for 2026-27 - Tell a Friend!
Our spring Open House events are coming soon in January and February! These events are our premiere recruiting events to reach out to interested new families. We will have one Open House at each campus, interested families are welcome to join either or both events. It does not matter which campus they are interested in attending, both events will be facilitated by our headmaster Dale Stenberg so the information will be the same, just attend the one that is most convenient.
Referrals from our families are our best avenue for attracting new students. It's easy to pass along our flyer link by text, email, or even post it on your social media.
Classical Christian Education Retreat - Coming in February! π
The Alcuin Fellowship, Christ College, and the Davenant Institute invite you to a gathering of leaders and teachers as we consider the ways in which classical Christian education is directed toward cultivating the habits of studentsβ hearts. While cultivating studentsβ hearts is a lofty philosophical and theological goal, it is achieved largely through the intentional implementation of incredibly practical habits within classrooms and schools. This retreat with therefore focus on important questions such as: What are the goals of classical Christian education? What does it mean to have well-ordered loves? How does this relate to a well-ordered mind? How should our answers to these questions impact daily routines and in-class pedagogy?
- Location: Pietas Classical Christian/CrossPointe Church, Melbourne, Florida (5995 N. Wickham Road Melbourne, FL 32940)
- Dates: February 27-28, 2026
- Common Text: You Are What You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit by James K. A. Smith
- Registration Fee: $75 (Registration includes the Friday reception and Saturday lunch and dinner. Participants should make their own lodging arrangements.) For information on group discounts, contact alcuinfellowship@gmail.com. Space is limited, so please register today!
Musical Musings from Mrs. Fyffe! π΅
Since our Pietas families are always in pursuit of beautiful things, we would love to make you aware of an upcoming event where beauty will be on full display. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra will be performing some stunning works by Mozart, Bruch, and Rossini on Saturday, January 24, at 2:00 and 7:30.
And the best news is that the BSO makes it affordable for students to attend with an adult chaperone! Consider checking out the Kidsβ Concert Club if you are interested in attending this performance. The link for the BSO Kidsβ Concert Club is: https://brevardsymphony.com/studenttickets/
Service with a Smile! π
We want to be good tenants and bless the churches that host our Pietas community, so we have organized a couple of dates during which we can serve by doing some clean-up and projects for our host churches. We will send out more information in the next few weeks, but for now, please save the dates and plan to come to one or both of our service days (no need to attend your specific campusβwe are one big family!). Our service days will be Saturday, January 31, at Rockledge United Methodist Church, and Saturday, March 7, at CrossPointe Coast. Both events will take place in the morning, from 10:00 to noon. Stay tuned for details!
