Class of 2027 families are encouraged to attend a FAFSA/VASA Night to receive individual support and professional guidance with completing the 2027–2028 FAFSA/VASA. Woodbridge High School will be collaborating with Gar-Field High School to host a FAFSA/VASA night at Gar-Field HS.

There is a free clothing giveaway at Potomac Library, 2201 Opitz Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA 22191, on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the library parking lot.

Clothing will be available to anyone in need, with clothes available for infants, children, adolescents, and adults. The event is sponsored by Sarah's Way Foundation, and is open to the public.

Class of 2027, don't miss this opportunity to be photographed for the yearbook! The required attire for the school's yearbook pose are traditional tuxedos and drapes; provided by us! You can also choose to wear your own formal attire; we suggest an all black attire. In addition to the free yearbook session, we also offer sessions that include casual/personality portraits and cap and gown portraits.

November 2: Touchbase Day. Students do not attend. Parents are invited to come from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. for mini conferences with teachers.

November 3: Teacher Work Day. Students do not attend.

November 11: Veteran's Day: No School for Students/Staff.

November 25, 26, 27: Thanksgiving Break: No School for Students/Staff.

WSHS Viking Spirit Blanket– Preorders Open! The Vikings Athletic Booster Club is excited to kick off our Spirit Blanket Fundraiser! We are selling custom WSHS Viking Spirit Blankets for $25 each. These blankets are perfect for staying warm during chilly game nights, showing your Viking pride at school events, or even giving as a holiday gift. All proceeds from the fundraiser help VABC continue supporting our student-athletes and athletic programs throughout the school year. Preorders are open now through November 25. We anticipate the blankets arriving in mid-December, depending on production and shipping times. Once they arrive, orders can be picked up at the WSHS Spirit Store on Fridays or from Mrs. Kari Lane in the Activities Director’s Office. We’ll send an update when orders are ready for pickup. Preorder your blanket today. All proceeds support WSHS Athletics and our student athletes.

Our Spirit Store, open on Fridays during lunch, is entirely volunteer run, and we need your help! It's a great way to meet other parents and help spread school spirit while supporting our Athletes! Please sign up for a shift that fits your schedule! Don't have a Friday available, but want to get involved with the Boosters?
