4th Annual Mental Health Assembly: This Friday!
We are proud to host our 4th Annual Mental Health Assembly this Friday, January 30th. This dedicated day provides our students with the space to explore healthy coping skills through Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) centers and hands-on wellness stations, including Zumba, mindfulness sessions, sketching, and more.
Special Activity for Our Colts
As part of this programming, students will participate in a "Mindfulness Through the 5 Senses" activity. This session helps students practice self-regulation and focus by engaging their senses in developmentally appropriate ways.
The Taste Station: Students will be offered a small piece of Starburst candy to practice "mindful eating"—slowing down to notice flavor and texture.
Opt-Out Information: Participation in the Taste Station is optional. If you do not want your child to participate in the tasting portion of this activity, please notify the Roosevelt School Main Office (908)-231-8500 Ext. 8613 by Thursday, January 29th.

Each class will compete to find a classroom winner, followed by an overall 3rd-grade champion! This event is a collaboration between STEM and ART!
