If your student is missing required immunizations, DC Health is partnering with Children National to offer childhood immunizations at five clinics. Locations are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the Anacostia and Shepherd Park locations have evening and weekend hours. Call 1-888-884-BEAR (2327) to make an appointment.

The PTA is welcoming new members for the 2022-2023 school year! Please fill out our membership form and also let us know if you're interested in roles like volunteering during events or serving on a committee. Membership in the PTA is free and open to all parents, guardians and staff. To fundraise for the J.O. Wilson PTA, we will be hosting a bake sale outside the school (a polling site) on Tuesday, Nov. 8, Election Day. We need volunteers to work the bake sale and to contribute items. Please sign up here! All items must be individually packaged/wrapped and NO NUTS, please. Baked goods can be dropped off on Nov. 8 between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. at the J.O. front entrance.

Students are asked to wear a costume that represents a word. All classes will be welcomed to the Library or Commons for a read-aloud, activity, and a treat. The day will close with a vocabulary parade around the track. Playground gates will open to families at 2:45 pm.

Interested in helping to restart some Girl Scout troops at J.O. Wilson this year? Daisies are grades K-1, Brownies grades 2-3, and Juniors grades 4-5.
