AP Exam Schedule
The 2026 AP Exam schedule is now available to view. Exams will begin on Tuesday, May 5 and will continue through May 22nd. Students should download, print out, bookmark, or find another way to save a copy of the testing grid for their personal use. In addition, students may check the Advanced Placement website https://elcamino.sanjuan.edu/academics/programs/advanced-placement
to review required items to bring on their AP exam days as well as the list of prohibited items. Students may bring bottled water and light snacks which may be consumed during scheduled break times, but they may not bring other food items and beverages into the testing location. There are also reminders and helpful resources students can access to prepare for their upcoming exams. Of course, students should work closely with their AP teachers and their peers and are encouraged to peruse and utilize available study guides in their AP course rooms.
Summer School Information
Student sign ups for summer school begin on April 6th through May 18. Please see the flyer with more information and a QR code or contact www.sanjuan.edu/summer for more information.
Artist of the Week
Props to all of my advanced mixed media students who shined in their interpretation of characters from books of their childhood. The artists first formed teams to determine how to install content in the hundreds of square feet offered by Molly Milazzo of the Arden Arcade Children's Library. The winning team proposed a concept of a train with characters; they presented this on zoom to Ms. Milazzo, who immediately loved the idea. Each piece is on foam core with enamel spray paint. This looks simple, but the technique is demanding; each color must be separately mased for spray painting. The effect is clean, crisp, and clearly seen from a distance. The children and community of the Arden Arcade Library delight in this installation. Well done, everyone! And many thanks to Ms. Milazzo for generously inviting us to participate!
