National Apple Day

Students learned about National Apple Day by exploring how apples grow and discovering the different parts that make up the fruit. They examined real apples to find the smooth skin, juicy flesh, hard core, and tiny seeds inside. Teachers explained how each part has a special job, from the skin protecting the apple to the seeds helping new trees grow. Through this activity, students gained a better understanding of nature and the life cycle of plants while celebrating a healthy and delicious fruit.

Election Day Fun

In November, our students explored how elections work and why voting matters. They discovered how ballots are cast and counted then put their knowledge into action by holding their own classroom election! Students voted on fun topics like their favorite pet and snack, learning that every vote counts while having a great time practicing real-world citizenship skills.
