NO Summer School - Reminder NO Summer School - Reminder

As we wind down the school year, please remember there is NO SUMMER SCHOOL this summer. We have worked with students throughout the year on their skills and will continue to do so this final month. Students who are on the border of not passing all classes have had individual academic plans for some time. In addition, we are meeting with them independently to emphasize the importance of passing all classes and setting high goals for themselves. We will review students individually to ensure they are placed in the appropriate grade and are receiving necessary supports for the 2026-2027 school year.

"One Book, One School" - Restart "One Book, One School" - Restart

During the month of May, we will holding our annual "One Book, One School" program where all students and staff will be reading the book "Restart" by Gordon Korman. The book follows Chase Ambrose, a middle school student who loses his memory after an accident and wakes up with no recollection of who he used to be. As he rebuilds his identity, he is confronted by the consequences of his past actions and the people he hurt. The story explores whether someone can truly change and what it means to choose who you want to become.

We ask that you discuss with your child as they are reading along and encourage you to read along with them. Each student has a copy of the book they are free to bring home and can share with you and your family!

Dress Code Reminder Dress Code Reminder

As the weather gets warmer, we are asking for your assistance in monitoring your child's dress they are wearing to school. In the event they do not have appropriate clothing, they may be given school issued clothing to wear during the school day or you may be asked to bring in a change of clothing. We understand certain styles are fashionable, but also need to ensure dress is appropriate for our school setting.
