Summer is Here!
Wrapping up 2025-2026
The School Year is Almost Over...
Itβs always amazing to Lana and me how fast the school year goes by. Maybe the older we get, the faster time seems to go. We look at all the children and notice how much they have grown. Weβve watched them mature and move on to the next level of school. Our kindergarteners are no longer shy and quiet β theyβre ready for 1st grade and have become so independent. We see both excitement and tears from our 4th graders as they realize theyβll be moving on to a new school in the fall. Some are happy about this change, while others are sad because elementary school is all theyβve ever known for so long.
This time of year, we look forward to camping in Maine, going to the beach, and spending relaxing time with family and friends. We hope all of you enjoy your summer by spending quality time with loved ones and making memories that will last a lifetime.
For June, we recommend sending in a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen, as some days may be warmer than others.
Please reduce your speed and help us keep everyone safe! Both schools have a one-way traffic pattern around the building.
π The summer skies await π
The last day of After School this year will be Tuesday June 16, 2026,
and the Before Schoolβs last day will be Wednesday June 17, 2026.
First Day of Summer Camp June 22, 2026
π Good Luck Graduates π
These staff graduated this past week and will not be returning next year: Ms. Abby, who is heading off to Indiana University to study Psychology, and Ms. Kayleigh, who is heading off to UMass Amherst to study Business. We wish them both the very best in the next chapter of their lives!
π Be on the look outπ
If you have completed your fall paperwork and your deposit check has been cashed, then students in Grades 1β4 are all set to return on September 2, 2026. We will send out a welcome letter later this summer.
If you submitted your paperwork but we have not yet deposited your check, you should have received an email from us indicating that your child has been placed on the waitlist.
United Parish offers a Before and After School Program in Upton. This year, students were transported to and from the program on Bus U24.
Feedback.....π
It is important for us to collect feedback from families and hear what we are doing well, as well as areas where we may need to improve. We will review all feedback carefully and use it as we plan for the upcoming school year.
If you would like to share feedback or have any questions, please feel free to contact us:
