The End of the 2025-2026 School Year; Continue Your Journey!

Hello: It is hard to believe that we are wrapping up yet another school year here in the Galloway Township School District. To say that it has been a challenging school year would be an understatement, as we navigated multiple fires at the Arthur Rann Elementary School during the second half of the year. Truth be told, nothing could have possibly prepared us for navigating such a challenge!

"Sometimes the fire isn't your enemy - it's where you find your strength." -Unknown

This quote exemplifies not only the resilience of our Arthur Rann students but also that of the Arthur Rann staff and parents/guardians. This also rings true for our entire Galloway Township School Community, as the events that unfolded this year at Arthur Rann have impacted our entire Galloway Township School Community. But it has been clearly evident that through it all, the strength of our school community has only grown stronger in the wake of such a tragedy at Arthur Rann Elementary School.

While we realize our Arthur Rann School Community is anxious to determine the start of the 26-27 school year, please continue to remain patient. While AllRisk continues to make promising progress with both the remediation and rebuild, we ask that you continue to monitor district communications this summer for additional updates as they become available.

Stay Connected This Summer!

We'll be busy updating our district website this summer with helpful information and resources, so be sure to check back! And for all the latest district and school news throughout the summer, follow us on social media @GTNJSchools.

Emergency Management - StopIt

Just because school is not in session during the summer does not mean that our district is lax on emergency management or providing valuable community resources. We want to remind our families that our StopIt platform is still available should the need arise. As a reminder, the district has partnered with our insurance company to implement the StopIt platform. This effort provides families with an “after-hours” reporting system and community mental health resources. This platform affords members of our school community the opportunity to report any potential threat to an individual, a group of people, or the larger school community when schools are closed. A 24-hour monitoring team will vet each report and then communicate either with the local police department or with the school and district administrators so that they can respond promptly and increase our ability to keep our school safe.

Additionally, we have expanded our StopIt platform to better support our students' mental health and safety. In addition to reporting threats or signs of homicidal ideation, the platform now allows for the anonymous reporting of concerns regarding suicidal behavior or suicidal ideation. First and foremost, as a parent/guardian, should your own child exhibit signs of suicidal ideation, we encourage you to engage in a meaningful conversation with your child; however, should you need additional information, you can access resources at the following link. Additionally, if you are concerned about a student, other than your own child, and those concerns arise "after hours," the StopIt platform provides a way to submit information so that local police can be notified immediately, followed by school officials. You can use the same QR code or website link previously provided to make these reports.

Please keep in mind that the StopIt platform is NOT meant to report bullying, but rather threats that may impact an individual and/or our school community. This aligns with the “See Something, Say Something, Immediately” campaign. If needed, reporting would occur through the following link: https://web.stopitsolutions.com/login
