HawksCenter Student Life

September 1, 2026

We Need You- Yes You!

Your Work. Your Voice. Your HawksCenter.

Students (Middle and High!), every first and third Tuesday, HawksCenter, SkyView’s Student Life Newsletter, is shared with middle and high school students, families, and staff—and we want you to help create it!

HawksCenter showcases student voices, creativity, talent, and everything happening across SkyView. And you don’t have to be a writer to contribute.

You can share class projects, artwork, photography, journalism pieces, Student Council or NHS updates, club highlights, sports content, and more.

If you created it and it helps tell the story of student life at SkyView, we want to see it.

Ready to be featured?

Submit your work here for a chance to appear in an upcoming HawksCenter!

Not every submission will appear right away, but we’ll review everything you send.

This is your school. Your perspective. Your work. Help us tell the story.

Student Work

The American Student

Seniors, SVA Staff, and SVA Board Members participated in a Gallery Walk of "The American Student."

Mrs. Worley created an activity to model the 3 components of the Senior Capstone. Students designed artistic renditions of "The American Student." Then, they participated in the Gallery Walk where they gave praise, made connections, or asked questions.

After the walk, students synthesized their artistic renditions and answered the following question: What message did we collectively send through each of our individual creations?
