π¦ Weekly Highlights
π National Custodian Appreciation Day β October 2nd π
On Thursday, October 2nd we celebrated National Custodian Appreciation Day, and we are so grateful for the dedicated care of our Roosevelt custodial team.
-
Ms. Edyta, our daytime custodian, keeps our building running smoothly each day, ensuring classrooms, multipurpose room, and hallways are clean and safe for learning.
-
Ms. Anna, our night-time custodian, works hard behind the scenes to prepare our school for the next day, making sure everything is ready for our students and staff.
Their hard work often happens quietly in the background, but it makes a huge difference in the daily lives of our Roosevelt Colts. Please join us in thanking them for all that they do to keep our school a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for place to learn and grow! ππ΄π
πΆOur First Walking School Bus π
π± 4th Grade Trip to Duke Farms
This past Friday, our 4th grade students had the opportunity to visit Duke Farms! During the trip, they explored the topic of renewable energy, with a special focus on solar and wind power. Students learned how these clean energy sources are harnessed and why they play such an important role in protecting our environment for the future.
It was an engaging, hands-on experience that connected directly to our science curriculum and gave our students the chance to see renewable energy in action!
REMINDER - NJ SCI Survey π»
We have 40 Parent Responses - THANK YOU!
Our school is participating in survey data collection using the New Jersey School Climate Improvement (NJ SCI) Survey to help obtain multiple perspectives on aspects of school climate. Collecting data is important for understanding strengths and needs in our school and how it feels to be a member of the school community.
Your voice is important to us, and your opinions will help us to address current priorities. Take our short survey by October 13th.
