Principal's Corner
Dear Indian Prairie Families,
We trust this newsletter reaches you in excellent spirits and that you are enjoying the pleasant weather. We extend our sincere gratitude to the PTO, Indian Prairie families, and our dedicated teachers for orchestrating a successful Trunk or Treat event. This delightful gathering, held on Friday, October 24th, was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire Indian Prairie community.
We are especially thankful to all those who contributed by donating candy, decorating trunks, and bringing the vibrant Fall spirit to life. Additionally, we express our heartfelt appreciation to Gull Meadow Farms for their generous donation of delicious donuts, which added a special touch to the event.
Warm regards,
Ms. Tammo Nelson
Principal, Indian Prairie
Fall Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are important for parents to attend because they:
- Provide direct communication with teachers about their child's progress, strengths, and areas needing improvement.
- Help parents understand their child's academic performance and social development in school.
- Allow parents to ask questions, share concerns, and collaborate with teachers on strategies to support their child's learning.
- Strengthen the partnership between home and school, which positively impacts student motivation and success.
- Give parents insight into classroom expectations and how they can reinforce learning at home.
- Offer an opportunity to discuss any behavioral or emotional issues early, so they can be addressed promptly.
Attending these conferences helps parents stay informed and actively involved in their child's education. Our goal is to connect with 100% of our families!
Congratulations to Indian Prairie Excelsior Students
