APEX Fundraising Feedback Survey
Thank you for supporting Monroe School during our recent APEX fundraiser. We truly appreciate the generosity and participation from our students and families.
The Monroe PTO is currently run by a small group of parent volunteers, and we are always looking for ways to make our fundraising efforts both meaningful for students and impactful for the school. Our recent fundraiser included a program provider that helped manage the event and student activities, while a portion of the funds raised went directly back to the school.
As we begin planning future fundraisers, we would really value your feedback. Your responses will help us understand what worked well, what could be improved, and what types of fundraising our community prefers moving forward.
The survey is 12 short questions and takes about 2–3 minutes to complete. https://forms.gle/8TdWtGyxCYd4apM38 Your input will help guide how the PTO approaches fundraising in the future and ensure our efforts best support Monroe students and staff.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts and for being part of the Monroe community.
Warmly,
Brittany Johnson, PTO President
Andrea Mattes, PTO Treasurer
Dinah Langsjoen, PTO Secretary
5th Grade visit to Dakota Meadows
Middle school students going into 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year will have an opportunity to visit Dakota Meadows Middle School on Wednesday, May 6th. This visit during the regular school day gives students a chance to experience the building, meet staff, ask questions, and get a preview of what life as a middle schooler will be like.
During the visit, students will tour the school, learn about schedules and classes, and hear from staff and current students. The goal is to help students feel comfortable and excited about the transition to middle school.
Subject: Spring State Assessments (MCA)
Please try to schedule your child's appointements around testing days.
Parents and Guardians,
Each spring, Minnesota students take statewide assessments to provide a snapshot of their academic progress. These assessments help our school and the state ensure that all students are meeting Minnesota’s academic standards. The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA) are state-required assessments that help us measure student progress in Reading, Mathematics, and Science (Grades 5 and 8).
The Reading, Math, and Science assessments are scheduled for the following dates:
Reading MCA: Grade 3-5, April 13-17th
Math MCA: Grade 3-5, April 20-24th
Science MCA: Grade 5, April 27-30th
Please encourage students to get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast the morning of the test. Personal electronic devices, smartphones, watches, etc. are not permitted. If you have any questions, please contact Mollie Meyer (mmeyer1@isd77.org or 507-387-7889).
Thank you,
Mollie Meyer
