9.4.26 AGMS Weekly Newsletter
Some thoughts for the starting school year
Principal's Announcements
Dear AGMS Families,
Another great week is in the books! Thank you to all of our families for making Back to School Night such a success. The partnership between our school and families is critical to the success of our students, and we truly appreciate your support and engagement.
Despite the weather challenges on Thursday, our students enjoyed a fantastic Back to School Fun Fest! The day was filled with fun, laughter, and opportunities to make great memories while reinforcing our PBIS expectations: Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe.
The positive energy our students and staff brought to the day was truly special. A special thank you to the AGMS PTO for providing Kona Ice for everyone!
Our IXL Diagnostic testing also began this week and will continue into next week. The Diagnostic provides teachers with valuable information about each student’s current skills, helping us identify areas of strength as well as opportunities for growth. This information will help teachers personalize instruction, set meaningful goals, and provide targeted support throughout the school year.
We appreciate our students doing their best, taking their time, and showing us what they know!
Have a wonderful and well-deserved long weekend!
