Hello Families,

We will once again be able to have the Risser Run this Fall! The Risser Run is a community run named after former Hoover PE teacher Roger Risser. Students use this day to celebrate their cardiovascular fitness they have been working on during PE.

The all-school run begins on Hoover Drive, next to the Hoover school horseshoe at 10:00 AM. The course heads west on Marie Lane and then turns south onto Oak Terrace Drive. The run is completed when Oak Terrace Drive meets Marie Lane on the grassy east side of Hoover near the back parking lot.

Families are more than welcome to come run with us that day or watch! Just meet your students outside on Hoover Drive that day at 9:55 AM if you plan on running with them.

Hoover is seeking caring, outgoing, and safety-focused staff to work in our lunchroom supervising students from 10:40-12:40 daily. If you or someone you know has the flexibility to help, please apply! Can't work M-F, we'd be happy to work with your schedule! Please call Mollie Meyer at 507-388-5202 with questions.

• The lost and found is overflowing we do not have room to store it.Items need to be claimed by the end of October or they will be donated.
• Please send your children dressed for the weather... let us know if you need assistance with snow gear.
• Accepting snow gear donations for both boys and girls. Gloves are always in high demand!
• Picture retake day is next week on Thursday, October 26th.
