Our 15th Annual Spring Social & Auction is now complete! A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered and/or sponsored to make this event possible! We were so excited to host this event in person after a long hiatus! With your help, we were able to raise about $28K in profit for our amazing school. Many thanks especially to The Fenwick Inn for hosting us and the Knights of Columbus Council #1470 for sponsoring half of our Full Tuition Raffle.
We are very grateful for the FAW Spring Social & Auction Committee, led by Mrs. Carrillo and Mrs. Mattingly. Your hard work is appreciated!

Purple Up! For Military Kids Day
April is the Month of the Military Child. Father Andrew White School celebrated “Purple Up! For Military Kids Day” by allowing all of our students and staff to wear purple in honor of and in support of all military-connected children. Father David led us in prayer where we thanked all who have stepped up to serve and protect our country. We also prayed for their protection and for God’s guidance for them to be strong and courageous.
“Purple indicates support for all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces through the combination of their colors; therefore, Purple Up! Day signifies unifying support for military-connected children within all branches of the military and at all levels of service. This day offers military families, their support communities, and others who have connections with service members and their families the chance to recognize and thank military-connected children for their unique contributions, strengths, and sacrifices."
Talent Show Update
Due to a low turnout of acts, we are combining the Talent Show with another school event on May 12th. This will occur during the day. All Talent Show participants will be contacted with further details.

You can sign up HERE to bake some goodies or to volunteer your time at the bake sale itself.
Spring Uniforms are in Effect
Please ensure that your student's uniform is compliant. Remember to check that your student has a belt that fits, buttons are secure on skirts and haircuts are the proper length. Also, our students love to be active at recess! Please ensure your child wears shorts under jumpers or skirts. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
Log Your Volunteer Hours
Please remember to keep your logged volunteer hours up to date! You should have about 19 hours by this point to be on track for your 25 hour requirement (for Service Scholarship families).
Destination Imagination Global Finals 2023!
We are excited to announce that two of our Destination Imagination (DI) teams from Father Andrew White School are two of the top-scoring DI teams in the state of Maryland and now have the opportunity to present their Challenge solution at the DI Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri —an international competition where they will compete against teams from around the globe.
Please consider donating to help these teams get to the Globals competition!! Destination Imagination is an educational, academic program that has helped our students learn and practice valuable skills like creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork through different competitive, STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) Challenges.
The teams are working hard to raise the $5,500/team registration fee plus the almost $1,000/student it will take to get them there to experience this amazing opportunity! Raising $20K in only one month’s time is daunting, but they are DItermined!!! Every gift is a blessing and we truly appreciate your support! Thank you so much for your contributions.

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness!" In relation to the Bible, this saying pertains to internal cleanliness, as much as external. It can be interpreted that we should keep our hearts and thoughts pure and clean, and practice good hygiene with our physical bodies and environments. Some people use special "detox" procedures to rid their bodies of impurities. Our bodies actually do a great job on their own by filtering and eliminating wastes, and washing out substances with our tears, mucus, and even ear wax! Lastly, we all know the importance of hand washing when it comes to infection control and stopping the spread of germs. Thus, if you start to get tired of hygiene routines or spring cleaning tasks, remind yourself that you're doing your part in taking care of yourself and pleasing God at the same time.
