Exciting News from Encore at ICHSA Semifinals
Last weekend, Encore represented MN at the ICHSA (International Championship of High School A Cappella) Great Lakes Semifinal at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee! Encore represented Lakeville South with class, passion, and infectious enthusiasm. Their hard work and dedication truly shined on stage, and Iβm proud to say that they were a class act in every way!
Out of 70 teams from Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, Encore was selected as one of the top 10 teams to advance to this semifinal. Itβs an amazing accomplishment to be the second Minnesota team ever to reach this level of ICHSA status.
While we didnβt advance to the final round in New York City, our singers left everything on that stage and made an unforgettable impact. This journey has been an incredible experience for them, and their growth and excellence in performance were on full display. Here's a video of our performance. Congratulations to Julie Brott, Director of Choral Activities and the entire Encore group!
