Principal Message!
Dear Barron Families,
As we enter the second nine weeks of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who attend our family meetings. Your presence and involvement are invaluable to our school community, and we appreciate your commitment to partnering with us in your child's education. We understand schedules sometimes do not permit participation, however we ask that you continue to look for opportunities offered throughout the school year.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for their ongoing efforts in supporting all the students at Barron. Their dedication and hard work enhance our school environment and provide invaluable resources for our children. If you haven't already, I encourage all families to sign up and become members of the PTA. Together, we can make an even greater impact!
Last month we celebrated saying "BOO to Drugs!" along with our Trunk or Treat event and Barron's Collaboration Night with Burger King on the 31st. We are excited to create fun and engaging experiences for our students and families.
Additionally, each week we celebrate our students with attendance incentives, 9 weeks A and A/B honor roll, PBIS good behavior, and we select our Classroom Pioneer for the month, so don't forget to celebrate your child's achievements!
Judge Haggerty would also like to meet with Barron families to discuss attendance matters and motivate children to attend school every day. Our goal this year is to achieve a 95% attendance rate, and your support is essential in helping us reach this milestone.
Our mission to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of our students remains strong. We believe that together, we can continue to create an environment where our children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your support and engagement play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.
As we move forward, we are excited about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for our students. We encourage you to stay connected, participate in school activities, and continue to communicate with your child's teachers. Together, we can ensure a successful and enriching experience for all our students.
Thank you for being an essential part of the Barron family. We look forward to another great nine weeks ahead!
Warm regards,
Ms. Vasquez
