Thank you so much for all you do to support your child each and every day at Vine Street! Whether it is making sure they arrive on time every day, making sure they come with a snack and water bottle every day, helping them with homework/reading every night, and/or spending a few minutes each evening talking about what they learned and how they were kind at school that day! I appreciate all that you do!

Bangor Day 🐏

Tuesday, December 23 is our annual Bangor Day! We encourage all students and staff to either wear their Bangor Gear or dress in something cardinal red and white! Let's all celebrate our great school on Bangor Day!!

Attendance Initiative

We started our Attendance Initiative this week. We will be placing students' names in a drawing for every day they attend school from December 8 - December 23. Names will be drawn for prizes on December 23rd. Students MUST be in school on December 23rd in order to win! Attendance matters and every day counts!

At Vine Street we often fill our PreK slots very early since we only have one PreK classroom! We also strongly encourage all families with Kindergarten age students to come in to register your child for next year. We begin planning for our next school year now! 😊

Unfortunately, we only had 7 families fill out our PBIS Family Climate Survey, but I wanted to share some of the results even if it was a very small sample size.

Things Vine Street is Doing Well:

Students feel safe and families feel comfortable at Vine Street
Staff communicates well with families
Families feel welcome at Vine Street
Teachers/staff treat student's fairly and with respect

Thank you so much for your support getting your child(ren) to school EVERY DAY!! Reaching our attendance goals is a team effort between home and school, and we appreciate your support in making sure students arrive on time and ready to learn!
