  3. Students can also volunteer to support an elementary class during the Trunk or Treat! KHS students must complete this VOLUNTEER APPROVAL FORM to express interest by October 16th!

College Applications

College Application Palooza has begun! Mrs. Lanzl and Mrs. McClain have been holding college information and application meetings with seniors. This week the counselors sent out emails with a "To Do List" of items that have not yet been received. Parents who are looking for more information on the college application process can view the Senior Parent Night Presentation from 9/24 if they were not able to watch it live last week. Please encourage your seniors to set up a meeting if they have any questions or need assistance! FAFSA opened up October 1st. This is important if you would like your child to be considered for federal, state and college based financial aid. If you missed Ed Zamora's Financial Night Presentation, you can check out his YouTube channel for tons of videos and helpful information.

Dual Enrollment Information

Please review the KHS Dual Enrollment Guide 2026-2027 for Students and Families for all details about Dual Enrollment for select courses. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor. Please check out the deadlines for registration below.

Friday Night Football: October 9th

This Friday, October 9th, Colts Varsity Football will compete against Pequannock here at 'home.' As you may be aware, the Pequannock community recently experienced the tragic loss of a student who was also a member of the football team. In order to show our support for the entire Pequannock community, we are encouraging fans who attend the game to wear purple accents (to accompany the black theme for the evening).

Many thank to the KHSA for donating purple-themed giveaways that we will provide for fans as they enter the gates on Friday night, while supplies last. Thank you, KHSA!

Honors Digital Photography & Imaging

Celebrating Our Students in Motion!

Mrs. Farrell's Honors Digital Photography & Imaging (DP&I) students are putting creativity into action! They collaborated with AP Photography students, photographers John Sprague and Nada Almosbeh, and graphic designer Belinna Xu to create a senior media poster, a visual celebration of our students, their energy, and the moments that make our school community special. As the third class in the DP&I program, students take design and photography beyond the classroom and into real-world applications. Students are gaining hands-on experience creating meaningful visual media for and about the student body. From concept and photography to design and production, this is what Honors DP&I is all about: creativity, collaboration, and making an impact. Look for more student-focused media projects coming your way!
