A few friendly reminders:

• Parking: Please use the gravel parking lot across from Maple Glen on Fort Washington Avenue.

• Supervision: Families are asked to remain with their children until 8:50 a.m., when students may begin walking to their classrooms.

Parents - It's almost time for the 2025 Maple Glen Book Fair! This year's fair will be held from October 20-October 25. Your children will visit the fair during their regular library hours. If your child is absent during their scheduled time, please send them in with their money the following day. I will ensure they get a chance to visit.

Also new this year, the Bookfair will be open for parents on Thursday, October 23rd from 5pm to 7pm in the library. Book Fair flyers will be send home. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions - tmeyer@udsd.org.

Maple Glen Elementary is excited to be able to invite families to our annual Halloween Parade!

Get Ready For The MGES Halloween Parade! Our Maple Glen staff is excited to host our Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 9:30 am! The parade will be held outside in our B-wing playground area and the front of the building.

A Few Important Reminders:

• We kindly ask that ALL costumes are easy to put on and not gruesome or violent (blood, weapons, etc).
• Costumes may be worn to school as long as students are able to comfortably move around in them during the school day (masks can only be worn during the parade). Students may also bring their costumes to school and teachers will provide students time to change into them prior to the parade.
• In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be canceled. Unfortunately, there is no rain date for this event. Every effort to have a Parade will occur and this call will only be made on Parade Day.
• Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we work to provide our students with a safe and memorable Halloween Parade!

Upper Dublin School District has partnered with the Upper Dublin Police Department and Upper Dublin Township to launch BusPatrol, a safety program that will equip our district’s school buses with photo enforcement cameras to detect vehicles that illegally pass stopped school buses. After police review, the vehicle’s registered owner may receive a $300 fine.
