Digital Report Cards
WHS is moving to digital report cards. Report cards will be available to view beginning October 20th. Please see instructions below to ensure you receive this important information.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal – Get Connected!
Parents and guardians, have you set up your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account yet?
The Parent Portal provides convenient access to your student's grades, attendance, schedule, and other important school information.
Getting started is easy!
- Visit the UCPS website and select Students & Families → Infinite Campus.
- Click on NCSIS Parent Portal Activation Code Lookup to retrieve your activation code.
- Once you have your activation code, select Claim Account to create your Parent Portal account.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your account setup.
Need a little extra help? Instructions and helpful tutorial videos are also available on the UCPS website to guide you through the process.

October 29th: Yearbook Make-up Picture Day (9th-11th graders)
Make-up picture day will be held on Thursday, October 29th during 1st block only. Cady will be set up in the Auxiliary gym from 8:00-9:45 for any 9th-11th grader that has not had their yearbook photo taken yet.

Need to Report an Absence?
In the event your child is absent from school due to illness/injury, please upload documentation to the Student Absence Portal. The proper documentation MUST be provided in order to excuse the absence. Remember, 5 parent notes accepted per semester and parent notes will only be accepted during the current 6-week grading period, of the absent day. Questions or concerns you may contact Mrs. Yost (tammy.yost@ucps.k12.nc.us).
**NEW: Early Dismissal Request Form**
WHS is moving to an online Early Release Request format. We will continue to accept paper notes as well until the start of S2. Beginning semester 2 we will no longer accept email or paper requests. Thank you-

Governor's School Application
Governor's School application is now available. It is open to 10th grade students interested in Dance, Choral Music or Instrumental Music only, and 11th grade students for all disciplines.
