Black History Month
Dear Families and Community Members,
February is Black History Month, a time when we honor the rich history, contributions, and achievements of Black individuals past and present. Throughout the month, our school community will celebrate Black excellence, engage in meaningful learning experiences, and reflect on the impact of Black leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
As of January 27, we are officially halfway through the school year! This milestone gives us a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all that has been accomplished so far and to look ahead with excitement to the months to come.
One special day on the horizon is February 12, when we will celebrate the 100th day of school. This fun and meaningful marker highlights the growth, learning, and perseverance our students have shown since the first day of school.
It is truly a privilege to serve your children each day. Our students continue to inspire us with their curiosity, kindness, and determination, and we are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our families and community. Your support plays an essential role in helping our school thrive.
As we move into the second half of the year, we look forward to continued learning, growth, and shared successes. Thank you for being an important part of our school community—we are excited for all that lies ahead.
Sincerely,
Angie Dillingham
