This week’s Big Announcement is that you will receive your child’s report card via email by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4th. Please take time to recognize and celebrate all of their hard work and growth.

RISING 6TH GRADERS
Hello Rising 6th Grade Families,
Thank you to all the rising 6th-grade parents who were able to attend our informational meeting (1-28-26). If you were unable to attend we have provided the slide deck below.
Our 6th-grade counselor information is included in the slide deck. Mrs. Rachel Hamilton is our 6th-grade counselor for the class of 2033! She will be coming out to the elementary buildings over the course of the next few weeks. At that time, she will share the elective course information packet and guide the students through the process for submitting their elective "wish list". After her on-site meeting with the students, a Google Form will be emailed to you and your student. The Google Form is DUE by February 20th so that we are able to plan our staffing and master schedule for 2026-27.
We are extending the opportunity to purchase our unique & colorful WB tie-dye shirts. This is a fundraiser to support our 8th Grade Washington DC trip. There is a place on the West Bloomfield eFunds website to make the $20 payment & purchase a shirt. Shirts are then available to pick up at our WBMS main office.
We are excited to partner with you and set your family up for success at WBMS!
Best regards,
The WBMS Administrative Team
Mr. David Gardner, Principal
Mrs. Cindy Carson, Assistant Principal
Mr. Jermaine Evans, Assistant Principal
Our very own kindergarten teacher, Natalie Grudzinski, was recognized at this week’s Red Wing’s game as the “Best in Class”! We are so proud of you, Ms. Grudzinski!
VALENTINE'S SMENCIL
Starting on January 30, Sheiko will be having a Valentine’s Smencil sale. All
students will have the opportunity to spread KINDNESS by sending their
friend(s) or staff members(s) a Valentine’s Smencil. The forms were sent home with your student. If your student needs more forms they can be picked up in the front office.
Thank you for supporting your Sheiko Lakers!!
