K- 3rd and 6th Grades

Chromebook Policies and Pickup

Coweta County School System will provide a Chromebook for every enrolled student. We are scheduled to receive student Chromebooks for distribution on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

Based on that information, we have scheduled the following pick-up dates and times. If you have a Chromebook in your possession please bring that one back at that time.

Wednesday, August 4, 2021

9:00-11:00

3:00-5:30

All Chromebook distribution will occur at :

Brooks Elementary

35 Genesee Point

Newnan, GA 30263

When arriving at Brooks Elementary, please turn right at the front of the school and drive around. We will be distributing Chromebooks near the back of the building.

Who receives a new Chromebook?

Students in the following grades will receive new Chromebooks

Kindergarten

1st

2nd

3rd

6th

Students in the following grades have Chromebooks currently issued to them.

4th

5th

7th

8th

Please fill out the attached Chromebook Pick Up form if your child will receive a new Chromebook

What if my child has a chromebook that is not working?

If your child has a Chromebook that is not working please bring it during one of the designated times. Our technical support will look at it to determine if they can fix it or if it needs to be sent off for repairs. Your child will be given a loaner Chromebook if the original Chromebook needs to be repaired. You will be contacted when the repaired Chromebook is returned.

All Chromebook distributon will be at Brooks Elementary.

Please fill out the attached form if your child in grades 4th, 5th, 7th, or 8th has a Chromebook that is not working.

What if I can not pick up my child's Chromebook on Wednesday, August 4th?

Chromebooks are tools that allow students to access their teachers virtually. Students can also access their teacher and class using a computer from home.

If you are unable to pick up your child's Chromebook and you do not have access to a home computer please fill out the below form. We will schedule a time for you to pick up a loaner Chromebook. You will need to bring it back to get your replacement at a later date.

Please contact the school on Monday, August 2, 2021, to coordinate a pickup time.
