A Message from Mrs. Belcher:
Stewart families,
We are looking forward to cheering on our students this Friday, November 21st during their Turkey Trot! We invite you to attend to cheer on your student during their Specials time. We encourage you to bring your signs and noise makers! Please read below for more details.
As we gear up for Thanksgiving break, please know we are grateful and thankful for our students, parents, staff, and community! It takes everyone to make Stewart the special place it is! I wish each of you a the best break full of family, food, and rest!
Hoodie weather is officially here. Be sure to write your child's name in all hoodies and coats. We receive lots of items in our lost and found. All items that are labeled with a student name are returned to the student. We will have our lost and found out during our annual Turkey Trot. Be sure to stop by to see if your child is missing an item. All items will be donated at the end of November.
School attendance directly correlates to student success! Please make every effort to have your child at school each day, on time, and for the full duration of the school day. Instruction begins at 7:55 a.m. If your student is not inside the building by 7:55 a.m., please park, walk your child inside, and sign your child in for the day. Please do not drop your child off in front of the school after 7:55 a.m. as this is a safety concern. As a friendly reminder, students must be present at least 90% of the school year. Missed instructional minutes due to tardies or early dismissals add up to missed instructional days. Our instructional day goes goes from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Please see our attendance policy linked as a button at the bottom of this newsletter for more information. Thank you for partnering with us to maximize our instructional day and to help your student grow!
Have a great week,
Kristen Belcher, Principal
