KidCare News

Hi everyone! Many of you have already received emails from me, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of you in person since the start of the school year, but I would like to take a moment to formally introduce myself through this newsletter. I am truly excited to step into this role and look forward to supporting all of our KidCare families.

Each month, I will be sending out a newsletter with the key updates and information you will need for the month ahead. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions, concerns, or feedback. I look forward to working together to ensure a successful year for your students!

Registration for our half day programs will open on Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:00 AM.

The following half day programs will be offered:

• Thursday, October 16th | 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM

• Thursday, February 12th | 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Please note that spots are very limited, as many of our staff members will still have school or work commitments during these times.

When your student will be absent from KidCare, please email both your school’s KidCare Coordinator (Gigi, Lesley, or Georgia—depending on the school, see below) and the KidCare Director (Grace Wilson). Whenever possible, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance.

If your child has consistent absences (for example, due to sports or another regular after-school activity), please let us know that as well.

Just a reminder to please complete the approved pick-up form if you haven't done so already. I know it can feel like a hassle, but it’s really important to us that every student gets home safely and with the right person.
