JMS Open House is an opportunity to welcome all of our students and parents to meet their advisor, who will provide important start-of-the-school year information. Additionally, students and their parents may meet their other teachers and tour the building. We do ask that students and their families arrive and stay only during their grade-level time so that the building and parking lots do not become overcrowded.
JMS Student Expectations For Attending Varsity Football Games 🏈
With the JHS Varsity Football Team beginning its season with a home opener on August 22nd, we wanted to take a moment to remind all of our parents and families about the expectations for JMS students who are in attendance to watch:
All middle school students who are not seated with their parents at the game are expected to sit together at the west end of the home bleachers.
Students are expected to be seated and remain in the bleachers during the game. Students can access the restrooms and concession stand before the game, between quarters and halftime, and at the end of the game. During gameplay, students should be seated in the bleachers.
JMS students, as well as all spectators, are expected to exhibit safe, respectful, and responsible behavior. Attending sporting events is a privilege and any student not displaying this behavior may be asked to leave the game and may have restrictions on attending future events.
Attending and supporting high school athletics should be a positive experience for all. Thank you for your support as well in making sure this is an enjoyable experience for everyone!

Fall Fundraiser
We are looking forward to the start of a new school year! Our Fall Fundraiser will kick off right away in September. PTO is excited to have teamed up with Pinnacle Fundraising Services this year. This is a brand new opportunity for us and the middle school.
Open House 8/28
PTO is thrilled to have Kona Ice Monona available for purchase during the open house! Anyone can stop and get a Kona from 5-7pm, this is NOT just for middle school families. PTO is working with other community organizations and local businesses to offer a meal option during the evening as well. This is an exciting and brand new option we are exploring this year. Stay tuned!
Be Involved
Any JMS parent/caregiver can be a part of JMS PTO! You don’t have to attend meetings to be involved with PTO. There are plenty of opportunities to help out during the school year. Getting involved helps make improvements at the middle school, it allows one to meet teachers and administrators and other parents.
