Woodstock PTA General Meeting Vote
Vote to release funds to build the Woodstock Elementary Bike Shelter!
Our Walk and Roll/ Safe Routes/ Bike Bus committee has been working tirelessly to get a bike shelter built at Woodstock. Now that hard work is close to becoming a reality with a grant from Metro and a start date in June. To make it happen, we have to vote on whether to amend our budget and allow the PTA to release funds for expenses up front. These funds will then be fully reimbursed by the grant from Metro.
Please join us Wednesday at 5pm on Zoom for a quick vote to see if we can accommodate this change to the funding structure and start to get the bike shelter project going!

Help to Care for the Woodstock School Garden and Our School Trees
The Woodstock School Garden and its trees continue to thrive thanks to community support and volunteers. Please consider signing up for a week to water our school garden. Volunteers will be able to take home produce from the garden and any excess can be donated to a local food pantry. Of course, the amount of care that the garden will require during any particular week will also greatly depend on the weather. It could be as often as every couple of days if it is really hot or every 3 days if it is relatively cool.
Additionally, we are looking for people to help with watering trees. We have watering bags that will be placed around the trunks and they will mainly just need a good watering once or twice a month. It may be that the volunteers who care for the trees could be separate or there could be overlap. Let me know if you are interested in that role as well.
