What a great start to the school year! I want to extend a thank you to all our families and staff for your patience and flexibility during our open house and as we worked to get the main chiller fixed.
Your help with reporting bus routes was incredible and made our first day of dismissal a huge success. On day one, buses were dismissed just six minutes after the bell, and by day two, that time was down to three minutes. I expect our bus dismissal times to remain consistent from here on out.
As I've been walking around the building, it's been wonderful to see so many engaged students who clearly feel cared for by our fantastic MES staff. I'm thankful for the MES team's dedication and hard work, and I'm looking forward to a great year.
Summer Reading Success
Our Mustangs had a fantastic summer of reading. I am thrilled to announce that MES students logged a total of 43,485 minutes of reading in Beanstack over the summer.
Ms. Michele Smith is currently working on ordering prizes for our top readers, who will be announced soon. Thank you to everyone who participated!
