Time Change this Weekend!
Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour this weekend!
We know we have many students who love to ride their bikes and scooters after school. Please remind your child that it will be dark much earlier over the next few months.
Halloween Safety Tips
If you family celebrates Halloween here are some tips to keep everyone safe.
Please do not send candy to school for snack or lunch.
We know that students will be excited about the candy they have collected but please keep the candy at home and stick to healthy snack and lunch options.
Autumn Walk Fun!
It was a beautiful fall morning to cheer on some of our favorite characters, super heroes, princesses, robots, animals, and more. Thank you for coming out to support Green Meadow today. After all our hard work shifting spectators and finalizing the route this morning the walk took its own direction. Thanks for being flexible and working with our student leaders. Have a wonderful weekend! It is hard to believe that November is here.
Green Meadow K-3 Winter Concert - Save the Date!
Green Meadow students in grades 1-3 are preparing a Winter Concert to celebrate 70 years of Green Meadow history, and we need your help! We would love to share photos and stories to commemorate our school as we prepare to transition into our new building. If you have photos or anecdotes you would like to share, please click the link below to share. Your response may be used in our concert!

We Are Hiring!
We are hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with our educational team. In this role, applicants may support one to four students across school settings with academic skills, social skills, transitions, and school access. Special Education Paraprofessionals are part of a team of educators that include general education teachers, special education teachers, service providers, and other paraprofessionals. This is a great full-time opportunity for anyone in a graduate program looking to gain experience before moving into an educational role after graduation. Interested applicants should email Kate Murray at kmurray@maynard.k12.ma.us.
The Maynard Public Schools anticipates hiring Daily Substitutes for the 2026-2027 school year. This role provides flexibility. Daily Substitutes can determine which days, which grade-levels, and which of the three schools they would like to work in. For more information, please email Kate Murray, kmurray@maynard.k12.ma.us, or Colleen Andrade, candrade@maynard.k12.ma.us.

Maynard Public Library Events
Every other Wednesday our library is visited by Finn, a trained reading therapy dog. I always say to kids, "Finn can't read to you, but you can read to him." Each child can sign up for a ten minute session with this truly caring canine. Kids get to have the dog they always wanted.....for ten minutes anyway! It's perfect, right?
