Superintendent Update: July 2025

SuperintendentUpdate: July 2025

I hope you’re enjoying a well-deserved summer break filled with sunshine. While the halls are quieter, there’s still a lot happening across our schools! Summer learning is in full swing, with students engaged in everything from hands-on science to strengthening their literacy and math skills. Thank you to the staff and families who make summer learning possible—it’s a valuable time for growth and connection.

Behind the scenes, we’re getting ready to welcome everyone back for the 2025–2026 school year. The first day of school for kindergarten through 12th grade is Wednesday, August 27! Pre-K starts on Tuesday, September 2.

Whether you’re a member of the Class of 2026, a Kindergartener preparing for your very first day, or a dedicated staff member ready to return, we’re excited for what’s ahead.

More updates and back-to-school information will be shared in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy every moment of summer.

With appreciation,
Amy Allen
Superintendent

Statewide Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Ban Statewide Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Ban

Governor Ayotte has signed SB 206 into law, establishing New Hampshire’s “bell-to-bell” cell phone ban for students. This law requires school districts to prohibit student cell phone use from the start to the end of the school day. Administrators, school faculty, students, and the school board are developing a district policy to comply with this new law. More information will be available before the start of the school year to ensure clarity and consistency across our schools.
