🦅 Welcome Back Eagles! 🦅
A Message from Leadership
What a wonderful start to the school year it has been! Our campus is full of energy, new friendships, learning, and so many exciting opportunities for our students. As we settle into the rhythm of a new school year, we are grateful for the joy and excitement our students bring to campus each day.
We are especially excited for Soaring Together, a special morning designed for our parents to connect, be encouraged, and hear from Dr. Leslie Smith as she shares about The Joyful Difference. This will be a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and be inspired together as a community. Soaring Together will take place Tuesday, September 15, from 8:30–9:45 a.m.
We are also excited to begin Coffee with the Co-Principals! These gatherings are simply a time for you to come spend time with us, hear what’s happening around school, talk about our students, and mingle with other parents. Our first Coffee with the Co-Principals will be Tuesday, September 29, from 8:30–9:45 a.m. We hope you’ll join us for coffee and conversation!
Thank you for continuing to partner with us and for entrusting your children to our care. We are blessed to walk alongside your families as we help our students learn, grow, and deepen their relationship with Christ. We are looking forward to all that this year has in store for our RHLS community!
With gratitude,
Jamie Hernandez & Matthew Smith

Red Hill Lutheran Church News
A Message From Pastor Seth
Dear Red Hill Lutheran School Families,
We are off and running with the 2026-2027 school year! It has been a great and truly blessed
beginning as we have gathered to learn, meet friends, and worship as a school community.
Thank you for your support and prayers for RHLS!
Once again, allow me to extend a heartfelt invitation that if you do not have a church home, you
are welcome to worship with us and be a part of our Red Hill church community.
Beginning on Sunday, September 6th from 9:15am to 10:00am, we are offering a four-session
class entitled, “Foundations: Called to be God’s People.” The Ministry and Mission of Red Hill
Lutheran Church and School. This course will examine the nature of the Christian church
generally, as well as the mission, values and commitments of Red Hill Lutheran Church
specifically. We will explore questions such as: “Why does the church exist?” “What is the
purpose of the church today?” “Why is it important to be a member of a local church?” The
“Foundations” class will meet in the Christian Life Center (CLC) and concludes on Sunday,
September 27th.
If you have been thinking about joining Red Hill Lutheran Church, or have questions about the
ministry of our church, you are invited to join us for this important class, as we welcome you
into the Red Hill family!
Additionally, you are welcome to join us on Sunday, September 13th for a ministry fair that will
provide information about our various ministries, as well as opportunities for you and your
family to serve our Lord through the Red Hill Church and School community!
During the 10:15am worship service, we will welcome and bless the RHLS teachers and staff. It
will be a great day!
As always, if there is any way we can serve you or support you in your spiritual lives, do not
hesitate to call upon us. You are in our prayers!
Have a great September! May our Lord continue lead you as you follow Jesus.
Grateful for you,
Pastor Seth Britton

T.O.T.S. Early Childhood Ministry Every Sunday morning in Classroom 11
September teaching series from the Old Testament
T.O.T.S. Early Childhood Ministry provides a nurturing environment for Christ’s littlest disciples—ages six weeks to five years—to play, learn about Jesus, sing praises, and grow excited about joining the worshiping community. Our teaching series, "Love Roots," traces the story of God's redemption promise from the tree in the Garden of Eden to the shoot from the stump of Jesse. This month we are focusing on the stories of David, praising God our Creator, and playing our way through His epics of old!
K.I.D.S. Ministry (K - 5th Grade) Every Sunday morning in the K.I.D.S. Zone
September Teaching Series from the Book of Exodus on Moses
K.I.D.S. Ministry brings elementary-aged kids together on Sunday mornings to Know Jesus, Impact the world around them, become Disciples of Jesus and Serve others - K.I.D.S. This month, through the story of Moses and the Israelites in Exodus, kids will discover that God is always the help we need!
Middle School Ministry Every Wednesday in Peter’s Parish
September series from the Old & New Testament on Friendship
Middle School Ministry meets every Wednesday in September from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Peter’s Parish. Led by Mr. Tim and Miss Noah Rivera, middle schoolers gather to spend time together, learn about Jesus, and grow closer together. Interested in checking it out? Want to help out some evenings? Talk to our wonderful youth group leaders! This is also a great opportunity to invite students who are looking for community to join.
In this 4-week series, we’ll explore the words and stories of Jesus, the disciples, Paul, Timothy, David, and Jeremiah to help us understand what authentic friendship can look like. Together, we’ll discover that real friends choose each other wisely, show each other grace, comfort each other, and help each other grow.
Save the Date: Forest Home Winter Camp Parent Info Night
Wednesday, September 9th, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Peter’s Parish
Red Hill Lutheran youth are headed to Forest Home Christian Camp for Winter Camp, January 15–18, 2027! Parents are invited to a no-pressure Winter Camp Info Night on Wednesday, September 9, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Peter’s Parish to ask questions, learn about camp, and begin planning for this meaningful investment in their student’s faith. Students will still have youth group during that first hour with our youth leaders!
Student Ministry Confirmation Classes are Starting!
Sundays, 9:15am to 10:00am, inside Peter’s Parish
Student Ministry Confirmation is starting back up for middle school and high school students who want to grow in their faith through God’s Word, Lutheran teaching, and honest conversations about life and faith. This year’s Confirmation classes will formally begin on Sunday, September 20th, from 9:15am to 10:00am inside Peter’s Parish, and this two-year course is geared specifically for 7th and 8th grade students.
