MPHS - ImportantThings to Know!November 1, 2024

MP Students, Parents, and Community,

We've had another great couple of weeks since our last newsletter. We capped off our Homecoming week with our Friday night Homecoming football game and then Homecoming dance on Saturday. The fun didn't stop there as we hosted a Trunk or Treat right before Halloween. It was fabulous to see so many of our students, staff, and community in costumes, playing games, and trick-or-treating; our high school clubs and activities sponsored the event. Officer Munoz and the MP Police Department represented as well; our PTSO deserves a shout-out for their support and involvement! To cap it off, our Theatre Department hosted VHSL One Acts. Our students performed the drama "Our Place" and did an excellent job. Our Marching Cougars participated in the Northern Virginia Veterans Parade in Manassas.

Just a reminder that this Monday, there is no school for students. It will be an opportunity for Parent-Teacher Conference's. Parents can stop by from 10 am to 6 pm to meet with their student's teachers; feel free to drop in. We will take a lunch break from 1 to 2 pm, so please schedule around that time. Parents can follow directions below to view Quarter 1 Report Cards.

No school on Tuesday for Election Day. We will return on Wednesday, November 6.

As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.
