ATTENDANCE MATTERS โ
Help us reach our attendance goal of 94% average daily attendance!
Regular student attendance plays a critical role in our collective mission to ensure every student achieves their fullest potential.
Why Attendance Should Be a Top Priority:
Academic Achievement: Regular attendance is fundamental to student success. Each school day is a building block in the learning process. Consistent attendance helps students keep up with coursework, understand key concepts, and perform better academically.
Social and Emotional Development: School is a place where students develop crucial social skills and emotional resilience. Frequent absences can hinder their ability to form strong relationships with peers and teachers, impacting their overall development.
Future Opportunities: Consistent attendance is linked to higher graduation rates and better long-term outcomes, including higher education and career prospects. By prioritizing attendance, we are directly contributing to students' future success.
School Culture: Regular attendance fosters a positive school culture and enhances the learning environment for everyone. It creates a sense of community and ensures that all students have equal access to the resources and support they need.
BEST ATTENDANCE AWARD
This month, we will continue to focus on improving attendance. Here are the attendance winners with the least amount of absences:
TK/K: Ms. Stears' Class
1st Grade: Ms. Ouellette's Class
2nd Grade: Ms. Haas' Class
3rd Grade: Ms. Ortiz's Class
4th/5th Grade: Ms. Threatt's Class
Keep it up, Bobcats, and remember, every day counts!
Attendance Challenge
Felicitaโs Spring EVERY DAY COUNTS Attendance Challenge! ๐ธโจ
ATTENDANCE matters! From April 1st until Friday, May 30th, classes will earn points based on their daily attendance percentageโ1 point for 85-89%, 2 points for 90-94%, and 3 points for 95% or higher. Plus, weโll have three double-point days to give classes an extra boost! The upper and lower grade class with the highest total points will win a special Family Day at Lunch as a reward for their dedication to showing up every day. Letโs finish the school year strongโEvery Day Counts! ๐ช๐
