St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church is extending an offer to any of our Cedar Island families who might benefit from a little extra support this season. Once again, they are putting together Thanksgiving Meal Baskets for families in need. Each basket includes the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner along with some additional pantry staples to help fill their shelves. This ministry is one small way their parish community seeks to share with their neighbors.
If there is a family who would appreciate this gift, please call 763-425-6505 ext. 115 and leave a voicemail. They will coordinate the details with families directly.
Baskets will be distributed on Saturday, November 21st between 9-10:00am. Families will be asked to pick up their basket from the church during that time frame.
September was all about building the routines that will help our Bobcats become responsible digital citizens, independent library users, and confident readers. After our technology-readiness work, students learned how to care for their school devices, reviewed district digital expectations, and began checking out books right away.
We will finish the month by launching our Reading Flight as classes build independent reading stamina.
