πŸŽ‰ District Celebration: Rolling Rally Parade

Before our Winter Break, the 2025 Randolph High School Football State Champions visited every school in the District, and our JFK Jaguars were able to join in the celebration! Here is a photo of the signs we made for the Rolling Rally, where the football team was joined by the RHS Color Guard, Marching Band, and Cheerleaders!

🐾 A Message from Principal Bai-Grandson

Greetings,

Safety is of the utmost importance for our JFK children, and the following changes will be implemented effective immediately:

  • Elimination of food deliveries for scholar lunches.
We offer a variety of tasty and healthy options daily, including hot lunch, fresh fruit and vegetables, and cold lunches to appeal to a variety of palates! And I eat it, too, so I can personally attest to the flavor! Families are welcome to pack their child(ren)’s lunch to bring with them daily; however, food deliveries will not be accepted and will be turned away at the sender’s expense.

  • Early dismissals must be completed by 2:45 PM.
After 2:45 PM, families are asked to wait until regular dismissal time to reduce traffic while we prepare for dismissal.

  • Proper identification is required for student pick-up.
Please ensure that any family members picking up your child have valid state identification that matches the information listed in PowerSchool.
If updates are needed, families should contact us via Talking Points or Ms. Mathis directly at mathisr@randolph.k12.ma.us.

  • Face coverings must be removed before entering the building.
Although it is cold, once you ring the bell, please remove all face coverings prior to entering. This allows us to positively identify all individuals entering JFK.

Rationale:
It is imperative that we continue to keep one another safe. As we do not have a vestibule or similar security feature, these measures help ensure safe identification of all individuals entering the building. I strive to be proactive when it comes to safety and have reviewed our traffic and safety patterns to put systems in place that protect our school community.

πŸ’™ Season of Giving at JFK

Every year, the JFK staff donate goods so every child in every household has a present, clothing, and other necessities prior to Winter Break. This year, our devoted staff were joined by corporate partner Macy’s Department Store, as well as local partner The Tabernacle of Praise (535 S. Main Street, Randolph), who donated an abundance of toys, winter coats, clothing, games, and other items for over 40 families, many with multiple children attending JFK.

We are humbled by everyone’s generosity and outpouring of teamwork, and we look forward to continued partnership with both Macy’s and The Tabernacle of Praise.

Cold weather is here! Please ensure students come to school with appropriate winter clothing, including coats, hats, and gloves.

If your family is in need of winter gear, please inform your child’s classroom teacher, who will help coordinate support. We are committed to ensuring every Jaguar stays warm and ready to learn.

🏠 Community Connections (Coming Soon!) 🏠 Community Connections (Coming Soon!)

Families are invited to participate in our JFK Community Connections Initiative by sharing information about family-owned businesses or services connected to our school community.

Many of our Jaguars have family members who own businesses, provide services, or offer special skills within our community. This initiative will help bridge that gap by creating a shared directory of family-owned businesses and services connected to JFK.

Our goals are to:

  • Support JFK families and local businesses

  • Foster a stronger, more connected school community

  • Create opportunities for families to give back to the school or support fellow Jaguars

Participation is completely optional, and families may choose how they would like to be involved.

How to Participate

Families who are interested are invited to complete this Google Form to share:

  • Business or service information

  • Whether they would like to offer a discount to JFK families

  • Whether they are interested in donating goods, services, or support back to the school

More details are located on the sign-up link here. We look forward to building meaningful connections together!
