Although we do NOT have authority over the traffic on city streets the Buckeye PD has given us a courtesy call to alert our families of certain traffic violations that are causing complaints in the neighborhood west of the school. To prevent blocking access to driveways and side streets please DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. Arriving on time prevents backups in traffic and eliminates the need to queue in line.

Ambassador Club Snack Shack returns in a limited fashion. Snack Shack will open every OTHER Wednesday on the play yard before lunch to sell snacks and treats. Every item costs $1 and all proceed will benefit our track improvement fund.

Thank your for your patience and understanding as we worked through the shipping error. Our new delivery date is NOVEMBER 2ND.

We’re in the final step of our Fall Fundraiser, and we need parent volunteers to help with the delivery of the products shipped to the school! Volunteers can choose from two time slots: 1:00–3:30 PM or 3:30–6:00 PM. Your help will make the distribution process run smoothly and ensure our fundraiser finishes on a successful note. Thank you for supporting our school and our students!

Starting Thursday, September 17th there will be Pizza Hut Pizza available for purchase in the lunchroom. No need to order ahead, no need to reserve it...just send in $5 with your scholar in a ziploc baggie with their name written on it.

Calling All Craft Vendors! The Odyssey Family of Schools is excited to announce two wonderful community events and we’d love for you to be part of them! Both events will be widely attended by local families and are a perfect opportunity to showcase your handmade goods, connect with the community, and boost your holiday sales!

A confirmed reservation guarantees you a vendor spot at both the Fall Festival and the Winter Carnival. For just the one time fee of $50 you will have a reserved spot at BOTH festivals.

The Odyssey Family of Schools works together with Desert Choice Transport to provide fee based bus routes across the buckeye area. If you are interested in bus transportation please follow the link for routes, pricing,and availability.

As you prepare for the upcoming school year, we encourage our families to purchase uniform bottoms as soon as possible. Inventory can become limited as we get closer to the start of school, and popular sizes may sell out. Purchasing early will help ensure your child has the correct uniform items and avoid any last-minute shopping challenges. Thank you for planning ahead and helping your scholar start the year ready for success!

Most retail shops carry uniform pants/shorts such as:

• Amazon

At Odyssey we celebrate birthdays with the ENTIRE CLASS on the last Thursday of the month. This limits classroom disruptions and schedule interruptions. If your scholar would like to celebrate their special day with their class you may do so on the following days:

• August 27th
• September 24th
• October 29th
• November 19th
• December 17th

All food items donated to a classroom and intended for scholars must be STORE BOUGHT. This ensures food safety and allergy information is readily available.

Did you know you can help The Odyssey Preparatory Academy every time you shop at Fry’s? Signing up is super simple and only takes 5 steps:

1-Download and set up your Fry’s app on your phone.

2-Open the app and tap person icon in the upper left corner.

3-Scroll down and select Payment and Resources.

The Odyssey Preparatory Academy has partnered with AZ Aftercare to provide supervision to scholars that need exteneded hours. As a 'Drop In' program it is not neccessary to register - simlply pay as you go. You may drop your scholars of as early as 6am or pick them up as late as 6:15pm. Please see the website for more information.

My name is Teresa and I am the Events Coordinator at the Odyssey Buckeye campus. I have been with Odyssey since 2019. Prior to that I was an Odyssey parent, as I have 3 scholars that attend our family of schools. I am occasionally at the front desk but you will see me at all the fun events here on campus. I'm in charge of all the fun stuff here at Odyssey and I take my job very seriously! :)
