BWMS Family Update
3/6/26
Spring Forward Time!
BWMS Community,
Yep, everyone's favorite comes this weekend - Spring Forward. Although I am sure that all of us wish we were not losing the extra sleep, we will welcome the extra daylight in the evening.
With March, best wishes to our high school teams as they continue in tournament madness. Finally, we do have an Eagles Night Today after school from 2:30PM-4:30PM sponsored by our SOAR Leadership. Enjoy the weekend!
~Mr. Josh Frame

BWMS in Action
Purchase the 2025-26 BWMS Yearbook
Counselor Corner
Attention families of rising 7th and 8th grade students, school counselors will be visiting your student’s classroom during the week of February 16 to collect their elective requests. You can review the middle school program of studies with your student HERE. Your student’s course requests for next year will be sent home for families to review before Spring Break. Please reach out to Megan Burden for questions about rising 7th graders (meganburden@bwls.net) and Lauren Greenspan (laurengreenspan@bwls.net) for questions about rising 8th graders.
Also, if you missed the presentation from Dr. Jordan about College Credit Plus, you can find the presentation here.
Summer Camp Opportunities
Attention families of rising 7th-9th graders! The Delaware Area Career Center is hosting its annual Summer Camp on June 2-4. DACC will offer nine camps this year, covering a wide variety of subjects and career fields. Each camp will be hands-on, engaging and fast-paced — allowing local middle school students to "try on a career" and learn new skills over a three-day span. They will get to learn from and alongside industry professionals and current DACC students, all while making new friends who have similar interests. It is a great way to kick off your summer and begin to experience the magic of career-technical education in your own community!
Registration will open Wednesday, March 4th at 6 a.m. Visit DACC's website for more information on this year's camp offerings and DACC Summer Camp in general!
Coin War from 6th Grade ELA starts 3/16
In response to a recent reading of A Long Walk to Water, the 6th grade ELA team is sponsoring a “Coin War” to raise money to benefit Water for South Sudan, a nonprofit organization that helps build wells in Africa. This Coin War will occur the next two weeks, March 16 - 26, and all three teams across grades are given the opportunity to compete against one another to see who can bring in the most coins. The goal will be to raise $1000 to send to Water for South Sudan. Students can bring in coins (only American coins, please) each day next week to help their building-wide team A, B, or C win the contest. Coins will be weighed daily to see who is leading the pack! Our 6th grade students have worked hard in class preparing for the Coin War, and we are excited to see our school come together for a great cause!
