Registration for Spring After School Activity courses opens at 8 p.m. Friday, February 13, and closes at 8 p.m. Friday, March 13, or until filled.

Please use the RevTrak Web Store platform to register for all programs listed here. Classes do fill up and are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Classes begin after school the week of March 30 and run for about six weeks.

• Anime: On Tuesdays, students will have supplies and reference materials to draw or color in the anime style while anime is streaming to build their inspiration.
• Art: On Wednesdays, students develop their creative skills and create original artwork.
• Badminton: On Fridays, students will learn the rules & the proper technique for a clear shot across the net.
• Chamber Orchestra: On Mondays, students will play chamber orchestra music and explore advanced music. Students should already have some experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass.
• Dungeon and Dragons: On Thursdays, students will play a cooperative role-playing game where creativity and problem-solving bring epic stories to life.
• LEGOS & Puzzles: On Tuesdays, students will spend time together learning new skills and strategies using LEGOS and puzzles.

The DW Special Olympics Team is looking for students interested in being an “Allied Partner”. Staff will train students to coach Special Olympics athletes to prepare for the Special Olympics Spring Games. On Fridays, starting Friday, March 13, students will help with practices, events, and competitions. Students interested in becoming an Allied Partner and Special Olympic athletes should register on the RevTrak Web Store.

The Late Bus is available to students in extracurricular activities. Buses leave from the junior high at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Please review the late bus expectations. Late bus routes are available for families to review. Students should access the bus from the front of the school. Students should take the bus closest to their street.
