Brief Message from the Principal
Fall Break
We have made it to fall break. School will not be in session on Friday, October 30. When school resumes on Monday, winter sports will begin for all high school athletes who are no longer involved in a fall sport. Reminder: students need an updated physical to participate in any school-sponsored sport through MSHSAA. Contact Coach Dean at deanm@tipton.k12.mo.us if you need additional information about practice schedules.
Parent-Teacher Conference
On Thursday, October 29, we will hold our first-quarter Parent-Teacher Conference. That day, students will attend school until 12:00 pm. The doors will reopen to the public at 2:00 pm for Parent-Teacher Conferences. We ask that each parent keep conversations to five minutes or under per teacher. If you need more time, please schedule a meeting for tonight or during that teacher's plan period next week. If you are unable to attend, please reach out, and we can schedule a phone call. Please email Heather Moon or call the high school office if you need assistance scheduling a phone call or in-person meeting with a teacher.
Football - Conference Champions
District football has begun across Missouri. The Tipton team received the 1 seed in our district and will have a bye this week. Next Friday, Tipton will host the winner of Linn/Windsor at 7:00 pm on November 6. All district and state games are run by MSHSAA, and we host. Admission to district games will be $6 for everyone. For postseason games, no pass lists are honored. All people (students, senior citizens) are required to pay the $6 admission fee.
