These little buds are in bloom!
Week of April 29, 2024
A new month and a new unit! This week our focus was on the "reduce" part of the three Rs...Reduce, Reuse, Recycle unit. We discovered we only need to use 1 paper towel after washing our hands and we can reduce the amount of plastic bottles that are recycled by continuing to use our refillable water bottles. We reduced the amount of paper thrown in the trash by tearing up some old chart paper and putting it into our sensory bin. Some of the read alouds we read this week were: Not a Box, Peter's Chair, From Seed to Plant, Not a Stick, and Seeds Get Around. In Fundations we studied the letters Q and R. We reused water bottles to make Sensory glitter bottles and reused newspaper flyers to make a class collage. Finally we had a special music class in the music room with JC music teacher Ms. Champion. Have a great weekend!
