A note from Principal Ballard
Dear Families,
Across our classrooms, we’re seeing meaningful learning take place: students asking thoughtful questions, engaging in collaborative work, and taking pride in their growth. Our teachers and staff remain deeply committed to creating a learning environment that is not only academically rich, but also nurturing and inclusive.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunities and experiences still to come. Whether through classroom projects, school events, or community activities, we remain focused on ensuring that every child feels supported and challenged to do their very best.
Thank you for continuing to be an essential part of our school family. Together, we are building a community where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Looking ahead, we have several important events on the calendar, including: Oct 13th-end of the first nine weeks, Oct 17th nine weeks reward of a Glow Party, Oct 20th report cards issues AND our awards assembly, and Oct 23rd-Haunted School.
I encourage you to stay connected through our newsletter, website, and Seesaw to keep up with all the latest happenings. Together, we are building a positive, inclusive environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Thank you for being a vital part of our school family.

Good Choices = Join in on the 9 weeks Reward
Our First Nine Weeks Reward is a Glow Party - Oct 17th
🎉As students continue to grow and learn, we use nine weeks incentives to encourage great choices. The first nine weeks reward is a glow party. Students that make good choices, receive "Owl Bucks" and will also have a chance to participate in the glow party. Last year our students had a blast. We hope that families can encourage great choices at home and at school, so students may enjoy these nine weeks rewards.🎉
We will not permit students with challenging behaviors to attend.
🚨Struggling students will participate in reteach; staff will reteach the expectations.🚨

Attendance Matters
Check the back of your child's folder, or pocket, when he/she is absent to update the Attendance Tracker. Please aim to send your child to school each day. If your child is not sick, please send them to school.
Regular school attendance matters, but if your student misses school, you can submit your student's absence online using the Parent Absence Note Form
WALKERS
We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
