FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hello Families,
We've had a wonderful first week back after Fall Break! Don't forget, students have school tomorrow, Friday, October 17th!
I've love seeing families play games or practicing flashcards during lunch! Be sure to check out our Family Fun Lunchbox if you come to have lunch with your child!
What is a Glimmer?
A few weeks ago, I shared with our staff the idea of “Glimmers.” I’ve also had the chance to talk with a few students about them! A glimmer is a small moment that brings you joy, calm, or connection — the opposite of a trigger.
I encourage you to look for glimmers in your day and talk about them at home. Ask your child, “What was your glimmer today?” Our lives can be busy and sometimes stressful, but taking time to notice the positive moments helps us all build gratitude and resilience — and it’s a wonderful habit to model for our children.
Join the LifeLeader Group on Parent Square
The LifeLeader Group is your go-to spot for exploring the 15 LifeLeader attributes your student is learning at school. Inside the group, you’ll find access to LifeHabits, articles, activities, and games that help bring these attributes to life at home. It’s also a great way to stay informed about how LifeLeader is being used on campus and to learn how to speak the same LifeLeader language your student uses every day. Click here to join the LifeLeader Group.
Yearbook Pictures
Families are invited to contribute to our school yearbook by uploading photos through the designated link provided below. Please note that while we welcome all submissions, not every photograph will be included in the final publication, as selections will be made to ensure a balanced and representative yearbook. We appreciate your support in helping us capture the many memorable moments of this school year.

DEVELOPING LEADERS AT LSRO
Weekly I Will Statements
During morning announcements, we will focus on one LifeLeader Attribute each week and learn what we need to do to develop each attribute so that we can become effective leaders in our school and in our community. We encourage students and families to memorize these statements together and talk about how the attribute is exhibited at home, school and work. We will share the I Will statement in the weekly newsletter and on our campus Facebook page. We look forward to hearing how students are exhibiting the attributes at school and home. LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
During the first six weeks of school, we’re introducing our LifeLeader School Rules to help students grow as leaders of strong character. Every two weeks, we’ll focus on one of the three school rules, reinforcing positive behaviors that support our mission.
We invite you to partner with us by asking your child how they are demonstrating these school rules both at school and at home.
