When Is Sneak-A-Peek?
Sneak-A-Peek Info
All families are invited to attend Sneak-A-Peek on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 anytime between 5:30 PM and 7 PM. Please enter the building at the cafeteria entrance on the side of the building. There will be an ice cream truck onsite if you would like to purchase a snack. Bring the whole family to enjoy the fun.
How Do I See My Schedule?
Schedules are ONLY available via Infinite Campus
Hopefully, all students received a hard-copy of their schedule via US mail in July. If not, schedules are available online via the Infinite Campus Portal. Unfortunately, we will not distribute hard copies of the schedule until the first day of school in homeroom. There are QR codes available to assist in portal sign-up.
*Schedules are subject to change to level classes*
**We will take requests for changes; however, that does not guarantee that the class will be changed.**
School Supply List for 2024-2025
FREE School Supplies for Turner Students
Even if you missed the school supply pickup on Saturday, we still have supplies available for ALL TMS Students. Please check in at the table at Sneak-A-Peek.
*For those who miss Sneak-A-Peek, we will issue supplies on the first day of school.**
Lockers
How does my student get a locker?
Lockers are open for rental. We will also rent lockers during Sneak-A-Peek on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Lockers will cost $5 for rental. This can be paid online via the link below or with cash at the events. We will continually rent lockers during the school year as long as we have not used them all.
Lockers will be assigned the 2nd day of school during homeroom for those who have paid.
Can I Have My Cell Phone At School?
Cell Phone & Air Pod Policy
Students are permitted to have their cell phones at school. However, phones and Air Pods/Headphones MUST be stored either in a bookbag or in a locker. Students are not allowed to carry cell phones in their pocket or anywhere on their person during the school day. Failure to meet this expectation will result in a discipline referral.
If parents must get in touch with their students during the day, we ask that you call the main office at 770-651-5501.
Can I Keep Medicine At School?
Medicine May Be Left At School
If your student requires medication during the school day, please go to the Main Office to complete the required forms and leave items in the security box. Students absolutely may not keep their prescription OR over-the-counter medicine at in their personal possession. District Policy requires that ANY medication is checked into the office. Failure to abide by this policy is subject to disciplinary action. You may leave medicine in the lock box during Sneak-A-Peek. Please complete the form below to leave medicine at school.
Will Students Receive Chromebooks?
Chromebooks will be used in classes this year
DCSS is a 1-to-1 device district. This means that all students have access to devices. This year, each teacher will have a cart with Chromebooks inside the classroom for students to use in class. We will not issue devices to individual students as we have in the past. This will help prevent damage and loss that creates difficulty when we have schoolwide testing.
Beginning around Labor Day, students will be able to checkout devices from the media center to keep at home. These checkouts will require payment of the $25 usage fee.
How Can I find Out My Bus Route/Schedule?
Get your bus number and time here
Bus routes may be determined by using the Edulog Webquery system (linked below). There are computers set up in the cafeteria. Staff members will be there to assist with finding bus routes.

Can I Walk My Student To Class On The First Day?
Please Allow Your Student to Be Independent on Day 1
Back-to-school is an exciting time for everyone involved. However, we ask that parents allow their students to walk to class on their own rather than coming into the building. TMS staff members will eagerly assist students in finding their classes.

Walkers and Car Rider Information
Car Riders and Walkers are dismissed daily at 4:05 PM. All students who walk after school must have a walker’s permission form on file.
