Dear Families,
It has been another great week here at Sells! Our students have been busy both in and out of the classroom. We kicked off the week with the start of our new trimester, and students are settling into their new classes and routines.
We also had several exciting events happening around the building. Our Battle of the Books teams have been hard at work preparing and competing, showcasing their love of reading and teamwork. In addition, some of our students began OELPA testing, and we appreciate their focus and effort as they work through this important assessment.
Our orchestra students represented Sells well at their recent competition, and we are proud of the time and dedication they put into preparing for their performance.
Finally, spring sports are officially underway! It has been great to see so many students getting involved, trying something new, and supporting one another as teams begin their seasons.
Thank you for your continued support in helping make Sells such a positive and active learning community!

IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
Upload Absence Documentation via Campus Parent Portal
Dublin City Schools families now have a new, convenient option for submitting absence documentation through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Receive a medical note after reporting your child’s absence? Instead of sending a paper copy or a separate email, simply log in and upload it directly to the existing request.
After logging in, select More and then Absence Request. Click View Requests, locate the prior absence in the list, and open it. From there, select Upload Document and choose your file.
Using this feature saves paper, eliminates an extra trip to the office and reduces additional emails to attendance secretaries. It is a small step that helps streamline processes across Dublin City Schools. We appreciate families taking advantage of this new option to support efficient, timely communication.
Please remember that if your child is absent, they are responsible for making up any learning and assignments they missed. We encourage students to check Schoology, connect with their teachers, and reach out to classmates as needed to stay on track.

PTO 26 - 27
Come join us!!!
Even though we still have a few months left in the 2025-26 school year, we're starting to look ahead and will have MANY opportunities for parents to be involved next year.
The PTO exists to serve the incredible staff and students of Sells. To make the impact that we feel they deserve, WE NEED YOU!
Do you have a friend that you would like to serve with? We'd love to make you co-chairs! Start thinking about it and talking to your friends now! Questions? Email us at: sellsmiddleschoolpto@gmail.com
Want to help??
Help us Fund the FUN! Each year the PTO does things like feed teachers, host (free!) events for students, provide teacher grants, and so much more. BUT we can't do it without you! Your financial support (as well as signing up - and following through on your signup - to bring donations) allows us do to these things! Without you, none of the above can happen. If you can't make a donation, who do you know that might be able to? Do you know any businesses that might like to make a donation? We will definitely give them recognition! If you use Venmo, you can make a donation to @SellsMSPTO.
Follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/sellsmspto for up-to-date information about everything that we have going on and how you can get involved!
