Principal Message
Dear WCS Families,
We are only one week away from vacation, and the kids are definitely ready! I am hopeful that the weather will begin to warm up so we can get students back outside for Ready, Set, Go and recess more regularly—we are all in need of a little vitamin D.
You only have one more week to order your school spirit wear. Click on the link to check out all the trendy items available to our staff and students. You won't want to miss this opportunity.

Next week we will celebrate our students with a Tutor.com Pizza Party. As a reminder, Windham Center School won the statewide pizza party from Tutor.com through the NH Department of Education, and it’s all thanks to our amazing students and their dedication to learning! We are also excited to share that the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Education will be joining us for the celebration.
Here are some standout highlights from this year’s usage:
📘 147 students participated
💬 244 live tutoring sessions (compared to just 5 during the same time last year!)
📚 Students received help in 26 different subjects
✏️ Most requested subject: Middle School ELA
We have also seen an increase in students arriving to school with specialty beverages. While we absolutely want students to stay hydrated, we ask that students bring a water bottle instead of drinks from places like Starbucks or Dunkin. While these treats are enjoyable, they often become a distraction and can create spills and messes during the many transitions throughout the day.
We will also hold our Student Council–Run Spirit Week next week. Be sure to check out all the fun days planned and encourage your child to show their school spirit and pride by participating.
We are so proud of the effort our students have put into their learning and can’t wait to celebrate their success!
Have a wonderful weekend!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND RECYCLE
Global Concepts
Hola!
Your children just finished a unit where they had the chance to learn to speak some Spanish.
I wanted to help them to celebrate and learn more about Spanish culture by helping them to make some blender salsa to enjoy with chips. In order to do this with them, I will need your help.
Below is a link to a sign-up genius where you could sign up for some ingredients that will help us out! Anything - except the onion and cilantro - can be brought in at any time.
Thank you for your support!
