A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Wrangler Families,
What an amazing start to the school year! Thank you for your support, partnership, and trust as we kicked off another exciting year of learning and growth at Wilson.
As we continue our journey, let's stay focused on student success, make attendance a priority, work together to monitor and support positive student behaviors, and remain actively involved in our school community. When families and schools partner together, our students thrive!
We are excited about all that lies ahead and know this is going to be a fantastic year. So saddle up and get ready, because together we're going to Giddy Up & Grow all year long!
With gratitude,

BRINGING OUT THE BEST
We intentionally teach our Wranglers concern for the common good by modeling every day. We show concern for the common good through our actions with all our students, staff, families, and community. We model that even through adversity, tough situations, and/or disagreements, when we show concern for the common good we can accomplish anything, TOGETHER!

TRANSPORTATION
CLINIC REMINDERS
- A few things to be sure are included in your student’s backpack daily: eyeglasses if they wear them, supplies/laptop, lunch kits if they bring lunch daily, water bottles to stay hydrated, and always be sure they have a change of clothes in case of accidents or spills. Accidents can happen at any age so it’s best that they’re prepared!
- It is very important that your students have an established routine bedtime to be sure they’re getting adequate rest so that they are alert and ready to learn when they come to school.
- Reminder: For safety reasons, it is against district policy for elementary students to bring medicine of any kind with them to school. A parent/guardian or an adult that you trust will need to come to the front office to sign appropriate paperwork, OR a medical provider will need to write a note or complete and sign a district medication permission form if your student requires any prescribed medication during the school day.
- It is important for you to be aware that the district 24 hour fever policy remains in effect. If your student has a temp of 100 or higher, they are sent home and have to remain home until 24 hours fever free without using fever reducing medication. This is an effort to prevent the spread of potentially contagious illnesses as well as to allow your sick student to rest and recover. Please contact the school nurse for any questions regarding guidelines, or if you need guidance on when it’s safest for your student to return. Also, please send an excuse note when your student returns to school, and please keep your contact information updated so we are able to reach you in case of emergency or illness.
- The district screen team will be on campus September 15-16 to screen our students’ vision and hearing in grades KG, 1, 3, and 5 per state guidelines.
