2026-2027 School Year: Elective Preference Selection
Elective Preference Selection must be completed ONLINE!
Elective Preference Selection will take place starting on Monday, May 18th
and will end on Monday, May 25th.
It is time for students to complete their elective preference selection for next school year. This process helps us learn more about students’ interests and the elective classes they are most excited to take.
While we do our best to place students in electives they are interested in, students may not receive their top choices. The scheduling process is designed to help us keep core academic classes at manageable sizes while also giving students opportunities to explore a variety of elective experiences throughout middle school.
We are proud of the many elective opportunities available to our students and believe that all of our classes provide meaningful learning experiences, creativity, skill-building, and opportunities for students to discover new interests.
Current 5th Grade Families/Students:
We ask that you and your student complete the elective preference selection process together online in PowerSchool. You can complete this process online starting on May 18th and it will close on May 25th. The instructions can be found below.
We do our best to place students in their preferred electives, but registration is not guaranteed. Elective offerings are subject to change. Due to limitations with scheduling, students may be placed in a class they did select.
Current 6th and 7th Grade Families/Students:
Students will be given the opportunity to complete the elective preference selection process at school during the week of May 18th! If your student is not present when this process takes place, we ask that you please complete it together at home.You can complete this process online in PowerSchool starting on May 18th and it will close on May 25th. The instructions can be found below.
